Juniper installs a crystal.
Synopsis[]
The party continue moving upwards while talking to Uther, who is determined to leave Aerb for the Earth above.
They reach another landing, a small city with teeth-like buildings extending from the ceiling and floor, populated by crystalids with brownish grey skin, weak bodies, and crystals emerging from their heads.
Finding out that warding will be lost somewhere between the second and third Landings, Grak chooses to stay at the second Landing instead of continuing up.
Uther kills some crystalids for their tracking crystals, which can path to to any known person, to reach Earth more efficiently. The party have them implanted. They find out that tracking doesn't work on Amaryllis (due to her thirty clones) and Juniper, for unknown reasons.
