Synopsis[]
The Narrator and Fenns live in a sleek alien house of curves and sharp edges, surrounded by clouds, with a beach accessible by gliding (or teleporting).
The Narrator plays the Godsgame with the other Junipers. The Godsgame is a board game where the players act as gods trying to create the best stories involving their primary, secondary and tertiary themes over the course of five thousand years.
Nellan, Fenn's son, visits. They have reconciled. He's going to become a runner on the barrisball (a middle heavens megasport) team, and so won't be able to receive contact for six months.
The Narrator and Fenns discuss barrisball, and how it would make a good anime, and move into the upper heavens so it can be created in a place without creative scarcity. Angel Fenn says it would be a good place to raise a family.
They agree to have children.
